Scotland

Golf without definition

The country that invented the game and never got precious about it. Six regions, each with enough golf to fill a week — and no requirement to play any of it a particular way.

Scotland rewards the group that picks a base and stays put. St Andrews and East Lothian each hold a week's worth of golf inside a thirty-minute drive, and the Highlands trade a longer transfer for emptier tee sheets. We build around one region, two at most, so the hours go to the golf rather than the A9.

Highlands

The cattle and sheep are on the maintenance crew. Quirky in the very best way.
